1Password
Let's work together to keep your passwords and other sensitive information safe using 1Password!

At some point during our process, you will need to share passwords or other sensitive information. It's then important to safely delivery that information without risking it getting into the wrong hands.
Emails are NOT the way!
That's why I recommend 1Password.
Getting Started
- You'll get an invitation to join a shared 1Password Vault as a guest.
- Click the "Join Now" button and enter in a new, strong password.
- You'll be asked to download what 1Password calls an "Emergency Kit". This will allow you to access your 1Password account in the event that you forget your password. Download it and save it somewhere safe.
- Once you're signed up, we'll confirm your account and complete the process.
- That's it! All finished!
Sharing with 1Password
1Password makes things super simple for sharing sensitive information. Here's what you need to do:
- Login to your 1Password account.
- Select the vault that matches your company name.
- Click the "+" button and select from the list which type of entry you'd like to create. For this example, select "Login".
- Enter a title for the entry. For example, Gmail - youremail@gmail.com
- Add the username and password.
Note: If you want, 1Password can create a new password for you by clicking the key icon to the right of the password field - Add any other notes you feel are important (optional)
- Click the "Save" button in the top right corner of the screen.
- Congratulations! You've just shared your first password.
Using 1Password
1Password works great in a browser but you can also download their apps. These apps not only make it easy to share passwords and other sensitive information, they make it super easy to use the passwords you've stored, and create new, stronger passwords.
